Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Q&P Furniture”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Q&P Furniture. The terms “you” and “your” refer to the customer or website user.
These Terms govern your use of our website and any purchase made from us through the website.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with any policies referred to in them, including our Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or affects any statutory rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.

3. Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
-
Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the website
-
Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material
-
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
-
Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission
-
Provide false or misleading information when placing an order
We may restrict or suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal or operational reasons.
This will not affect any existing contract or statutory rights you may have.
4. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, colours and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings and the device used to view the product.
Furniture may also be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances in measurements, materials, finishes and appearance.
Natural materials, fabrics, stone-effect surfaces, marble-effect finishes and similar products may show reasonable variations in colour, pattern, texture or grain.
These reasonable variations are not intended to affect your statutory rights where a product is materially different from its description, faulty or not of satisfactory quality.
Customers should carefully review the product description, dimensions, colour and specifications before placing an order.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include applicable UK VAT where required, unless clearly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed or communicated before you complete your purchase.
We may change product prices at any time. Any change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
If we discover an obvious pricing or product-information error after you place an order, we will contact you.
Where appropriate, you will be given the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order and receive a refund of any payment already made.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
Receiving an automatic order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.
A contract between you and Q&P Furniture is formed when we expressly accept your order, normally by sending an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline an order for legitimate reasons, including where:
-
A product is unavailable
-
Payment cannot be authorised
-
There is an obvious pricing or description error
-
Delivery cannot reasonably be made to the address supplied
-
We reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity
-
An order exceeds applicable quantity restrictions
If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, the relevant payment will be refunded.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available during checkout.
You must provide complete and accurate billing, delivery and contact information.
Where payment is subject to authorisation by your bank, card provider or payment provider, we are not responsible for delays caused by that provider.
We reserve the right to carry out reasonable fraud-prevention and payment-security checks.
8. Delivery
Delivery options, estimated times and charges will be displayed or communicated before the contract is completed.
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the agreed delivery period.
Where no specific delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.
Delivery dates and time windows may sometimes change because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will communicate with you and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.
Nothing in this section affects any rights you may have where goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required period.
9. Heavy & Bulky Furniture Deliveries
Some furniture products are large or heavy and may require a specialist furniture delivery service or pallet delivery.
Where a product is sold with pallet, kerbside or front-door delivery, delivery will normally be made to the nearest safe and reasonably accessible ground-level delivery point or entrance.
Such delivery does not include carrying furniture upstairs, into individual rooms, assembling the furniture or removing packaging, unless this service has been expressly included or agreed in advance.
The applicable delivery method will be communicated before purchase where relevant.
Customers are responsible for checking that products will fit through relevant entrances, doorways, corridors, lifts and stairways before ordering.
Please inform us before delivery of any access restrictions that could reasonably affect delivery, including:
-
Flats or apartments above ground level
-
Narrow entrances or staircases
-
Restricted parking or vehicle access
-
Controlled-access buildings
-
Difficult or unsafe delivery areas
Where delivery cannot reasonably be completed because material access information was not provided or because the product cannot fit through the available access, reasonable redelivery or additional delivery costs may apply where these charges have been properly disclosed and are permitted by law.
This does not affect your statutory rights or any applicable cancellation rights.
10. Delivery Inspection & Visible Damage
We recommend that customers inspect their furniture as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If an item arrives visibly damaged, incorrect, incomplete or faulty, please contact Q&P Furniture as soon as possible.
For visible delivery damage, we ask customers to report the issue within 24 hours wherever reasonably possible so that we can investigate promptly with our delivery partners.
We may request:
-
Your order number
-
Photographs or videos of the issue
-
Photographs of the packaging
-
Product or part labels where relevant
Failure to report an issue within 24 hours does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.
11. Passing of Risk
Goods remain our responsibility during delivery until they come into the physical possession of you, or a person you have identified to receive them on your behalf, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Online Change-of-Mind Cancellation Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you will normally have the right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to any applicable legal exceptions.
You do not have to provide a reason for cancelling.
To exercise this right, you must clearly inform us of your decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.
After notifying us, the goods must normally be returned within the applicable legal return period.
Full details are contained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
13. Change-of-Mind Return Costs
For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this has been properly communicated before purchase and the law allows us to require this.
Because furniture can be large and heavy, return costs may be substantially higher than ordinary parcel-return costs.
Where goods cannot normally be returned by post, the applicable return cost or a reasonable estimate of that cost will be provided as required before the contract is completed.
Where Q&P Furniture agrees to arrange collection on the customer's behalf, the applicable collection charge will be communicated in accordance with the information provided before purchase.
This section applies to change-of-mind returns and does not remove our responsibilities relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
14. Original Packaging – Heavy & Bulky Furniture
Due to the size, weight and nature of our furniture, we strongly recommend that customers retain the original packaging until they have inspected the product and are satisfied with their purchase.
Original packaging is specifically designed to protect furniture during handling and transportation and is normally the safest method of preparing an item for return.
For a change-of-mind return, furniture must be:
-
Fully protected
-
Securely packaged
-
Safe for transportation
Where reasonably possible, original packaging should be reused.
If the original packaging is no longer available, suitable alternative protective packaging must be used.
Large or heavy furniture must not be presented for collection loose, unprotected or inadequately packaged.
A courier or collection team may refuse to collect an item where, in their reasonable assessment, it cannot be safely transported or is inadequately protected.
Where goods are damaged or their value is reduced because of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, or because of inadequate return packaging, an appropriate deduction from the refund may be made where permitted by law.
The absence of original packaging alone does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.
15. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods
Goods supplied by Q&P Furniture must meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before arranging a return.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include:
-
Replacement parts
-
Repair
-
Replacement
-
Price reduction
-
Refund
-
Collection of the goods
We will handle legitimate faulty-goods return or collection costs in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory remedy available to you.
16. Condition of Change-of-Mind Returns
You may inspect goods in a way that is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
You should take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
For change-of-mind returns, products should be complete, securely packaged and returned with all relevant parts and accessories.
If handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has caused a reduction in the value of the goods, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Damage caused by misuse, careless handling or incorrect assembly after delivery is not automatically considered a manufacturing fault.
This does not affect your rights in relation to any underlying defect in the product.
17. Refunds
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law.
For an eligible online cancellation, any refund due will include the appropriate standard outbound delivery charge where required by law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service than our standard service, we are not required to refund the additional premium above the standard delivery cost where the law allows.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
18. In-Store Purchases
There is normally no automatic statutory right to return goods purchased in a physical store solely because you have changed your mind.
Any voluntary change-of-mind return offered for an in-store purchase will be subject to the terms communicated at the time of purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to comply with consumer law.
19. Product Assembly & Use
Where furniture requires assembly, customers should follow the instructions supplied with the product.
Products should be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with any applicable safety or care instructions.
If you believe a component is defective, damaged or unsafe, please stop using or assembling the affected item and contact us.
We are not responsible for damage caused solely by misuse, deliberate damage or assembly that does not follow the supplied instructions.
This does not limit our responsibility for an underlying product defect or any other matter for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
20. Promotions & Discount Codes
Promotional offers, discount codes and special offers may be subject to additional conditions communicated with the promotion.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be exchanged for cash.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an obvious error, fraud or misuse, provided this does not unfairly affect an order or contract already accepted.
21. Website Accuracy & Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate and available.
Occasionally, information may contain typographical errors, technical errors or temporary inaccuracies relating to product descriptions, stock availability, delivery information or pricing.
Where an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you and deal with the matter fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
We may update, maintain or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
22. Third-Party Services & Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers or other external services.
Those third parties operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.
Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility that Q&P Furniture has for services or providers used by us to fulfil our own contractual obligations to you.
23. Intellectual Property
The website and its content, including our branding, product photographs, text, graphics, designs and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Q&P Furniture unless otherwise stated.
You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial use.
You must not reproduce, publish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where permitted by law.
24. Reviews, Comments & Customer Content
Where you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to our website or social channels, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and that it is not unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing another person's rights.
We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary.
Where we wish to use customer photographs or similar identifiable content for advertising or promotional purposes beyond the context in which it was submitted, we will do so subject to applicable data-protection and other legal requirements.
25. Personal Information
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used, stored and protected.
26. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
-
Breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded
-
Faulty or misdescribed goods where statutory liability applies
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Where you purchase products as a consumer, we do not accept responsibility for business losses such as loss of profit, business interruption or loss of business opportunity arising from a purchase made primarily for personal use.
27. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
If such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay and keep you informed where appropriate.
Where a significant delay occurs, you may have the right to cancel the contract in accordance with applicable law.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable law.
The Terms that apply to your purchase will normally be those in force when your contract with us is formed.
Changes made after your order has been accepted will not retrospectively remove rights or materially disadvantage you under an existing contract.
The latest version of these Terms will be available on our website.
29. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed or limited only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
30. Governing Law & Courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you will continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live.
Consumers may bring legal proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law.
Nothing in this section removes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.
31. Complaints
If you have a complaint about an order, product or service, please contact Q&P Furniture first so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
Please provide your order number and sufficient details of the issue to allow us to investigate your complaint.
32. Contact Information

33. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce your statutory rights.
If any provision of these Terms conflicts with rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer law, those statutory rights will take priority.
